    Structure of the imaging plate

    Imaging plate(IP)with350μmthick polyethylene terephthalate(PET)material as a base, featuring excellent flatness and flexibility, and coated with a special phosphor that emits"night light"。When performingXray photography, the radiation penetrating the inspection object is distributed across the entire surface in the form of electron energy proportional to the dose on the “phosphor layer” and temporarily stored. On theIPsurface (white side), there is a transparent"protective layer"that prevents"phosphor"from being contaminated or scratched. On the back, there is a"back protective layer"covering the light-shielding layer (black). The overall thickness is approximately600-700μm,thinner, lighter, more compact, and more flexible than other electronic radiation detection sensors.
